‘Friendsgiving’ with Cadbury

Christmas is undoubtedly my favourite time of the year. Besides gifting and feasting, it is also a time to look back on the past year. I still can’t believe that it is December. Where did time go? 2017 has been exceptional for me; I stepped out of my comfort zone to leave a cushy job as a Management Consultant to start my career of creative work. It’s been going well so far. I’ve worked with many great brands, as well as other talented creatives and people in the industry. I’ve also been traveling a lot this year, which is amazing for me. I went to many beautiful places including New York, Switzerland and Perth. It has always been a dream job of mine- to travel for work. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to turn this “hobby” of mine into a business.

In this post, I’m featuring some of the most key people in my life – Beatrice, Christabel and Elshan. Without them as my anchors, 2017 wouldn’t be the same.

Food is my love language- so I was happy to prepare a little ‘Friendsgiving’ high-tea to feed my dearest friends. Thanks to Cadbury, I set up a table brimming with Cadbury chocolates, a cheese board and some wine. We were on a sugar high by the end of it. Proud to say, no one left my place hungry after that. It was a lovely afternoon indulging in chocolates and everyone had a really enjoyable time! After all, calories are best shared, right?

I hope you like the following visuals as much as I enjoyed putting them up. I’ve also included some simple tablescaping tips for those who are throwing a party. Read on till the end of my post for something special just for my readers!

Cadbury chocolates are a crowd pleaser and will be a joyous addition to a festive table.  The box of Favourites consists of a variety of Cadbury chocolates so there is always something for everyone.

Laying out the Cadbury Silk Praline chocolates – love the luxurious packaging of this one!

I think I found a new favourite pairing – chocolates and wine.

I love the Cadbury Dream Top chocolates because they resemble Christmas trees.

Bottoms up!

And of course, Elshan gets a special box chock-full of Cadbury chocolates!

With Cadbury’s help, I’m going to share the joy and gratitude I’m feeling this season. Thank you all for the support the past year. To those who have been following me during my online bakery days, thank you. To those who recently discovered my account and decided to give me a follow, thank you. To those whom I’ve developed deeper relationships outside of this online space, thank you. It’s people like you who keep me going. It wouldn’t be the same without your support. And I can only hope that I’m able to pay it forward in some way.
